The country of Schnitzel

Vienna is known as “City of music” because of the musical legacy, and “City of Dreams” because of Sigmund Freud – world’s first psychoanalyst.

A weekend in Eindhoven

Although it was short and rainy, we did enjoy the city. Eindhoven is for sure on our “coming back to you” list.

Malaga and its castles

The post from today is all about our last day in Malaga. We had a really late flight back to Dublin, the sun was up in the sky, no sign of rain so we decided that this is the best time to explore the city.

Spain – Selwo Aventura Estepona

After a good night rest we woke up to what will be our second day in Malaga with a bigger thirst to explore the area. We had the tickets for the bus to Estepona already bought, so […]

Bioparc Fuengirola

It is an outstanding zoo! The decor is very well designed with rocks, trees, and drawings to mimic the actual environment that the animals were coming from. We got a bit of rain while visiting, but it wasn’t that bad, as you have loads of trees and roofs that you can stay under.

A short stop in Frankfurt

On our way home, to Romania, we stopped in Frankfurt for few hours. We left the luggage at the airport, and off we went to explore the city. There is a short ride by train from the airport to city center, approx 30 minutes.

Denmark, you are beautiful! – Part 2

We first stopped to Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød, Denmark. Built for King Christian IV, in the early 17th century, Frederiksborg Castle is the largest Renaissance residence in Scandinavia.

Denmark, you are beautiful! – Part 1

Do you remember that last year I organized a trip to Berlin for Alex’s birthday? This year we went to Copenhagen for his Birthday! I bought the ticket in January, and revealed the surprise through a scavenger hunt.

From Dalkey to Dún Laoghaire

Finally I managed to visit Dalkey, after 5 years of living in Dublin. A beautiful suburb of Dubin, that needs to be added to your list once you decide to visit Dublin, Dalkey is only a 30 minutes ride by Dart from the city center.

Romania – Baile Govora

I will always recommend going for a hike on Ceahlau mountain, or driving on the Transfagarasan which is the best road in Romania and is crossing the southern section of the Carpathian Mountains.

Brussels

I even lost count of how many times I’ve been to Brussels. I love this city so much, and not just because is the city where I got asked the big question, but also because I do feel like I am home every time when I am there.
